Yesterday morning, before heading back to Portland for our flight home today, Andi and I went on one last walk, this time in downtown Eugene. Andi had a meeting planned with her sister-in-law, and I went along as far as the office building and then wandered along on my own. I was near the University of Oregon campus and decided to check it out. I found a few interesting looking places and made some Hipstamatic photos.
One of my favorite things to do when I'm in Eugene is to take long walks up and down the hills. There are steep hills to the east and south of Andi's parents' house. I wish I could take some of them back to central Ohio with me.
Yesterday afternoon I had a chance to get out for a short walk, and up the hill behind the house I went. The weather was cool and sunny, perfect for walking. There were a few dogs and their people about, but for the most part I had the streets to myself.
It's really nice to be in Oregon again. To me it feels like the right place to be.
It was raining early this morning (still is) in Eugene, Oregon. Since I'm still on east coast time and am waking up at about three AM every morning, it seemed like a good time to go out on a photo walk.
So Andi and I put on our rain gear, grabbed our cameras and iPhones, and headed out. There wasn't much going on, but the reflections were cool, so I had a lot of fun.
